Does anyone have a source for a nice mint green colorant?

I have found a couple, but they just aren't the correct shade.

Dan; Go to an artists supply store and look for color pigments or powders. Any large craft store should carry this also. Jim s

Try Alumilite's fluorescent green dye in their White resin. I did that by accident (meant to use the clear resin) and the resulting color was pretty close to the green found in mint chocolate chip ice cream. You'll likely need to experiment a bit with how much dye to use. I probably have notes on the exact number of drops I used as well as how much resin, but it's likely not that critical. Just remember that what you see while mixing will become much lighter after it sets.

Thanks Jim! I'll see what I can find this weekend.

That won't work for me. I'm using polyester.

I've had pretty good results with clear resins and a bit of mica powder...doesn't seem to take much to make the clear no longer clear. If you can find a powder close to the color you want, you're set. I've also mixed a wee bit of dye in with the powder to bias the color closer to what I want.

Hope you find what you're after.
