Hello, I stink at these darn things. I need to resize my pics to get them in a post in the forums and have tried to read all the other posts about it with not alot of luck. My ? is do I need to download a program to resize them, I have a cannon camera and can't seem to resize with the software that came with it. What about Snap Fish anyone use it, the cost of photos seems good and it says you can use it to resize ??? SORRY for a post that has been answered a million times, but I can't seem to get it. Thanks, LandfillLumber

Not sure about snap fish, but photobucket has an edit section to resize pictures.

I used MS Paint to change this picture from 2MB to 89kb by resizing it to less that 50%. You can also use MS Office Picture Manager. This was a picture from my canon (not very good shot).

Hi Victor! I free downloaded "Microsoft Power Toys Image Resizer" and works well for me when I resize my digital photos to Medium before posting.

Another one that works well if your running Windows XP is Microsoft's Image resizer powertoy.

It does not have as many bells and whistles as the one that Ron posted but it does very well in reducing the file size so photo's can be uploaded to the forum.

This is the one I use no all the time. Very easy to use to resize for forum pics downloads.[8D]

Why is this so hard for me. I have had no luck at all. i managed to resize a pic and then it had spaces in the file name so it came up as a x'ed box in my post. How do you remove the spaces? when I save it or what ? I'll try again later, thanks everyone for trying to lead the blind, Landfilllumber
