Hi guys,

first off sorry for not being on here lately. With school untill 3:30 then 3 or 4 hours of homework spending time with the family and sorting extra curricular activities and sports is very hard. If i havnt already told you, my other hobbie is fingerboarding. There is a very large web community that i also contribute to. Fingerboarding is using you fingers to preform real skateboard tricks on a miniature skateboard. If you are interested check out www.blackriver-ramps.com They sell high quality fingerboard products and there fingerboards (which are top of the line) are made of five plies of veneer. Ive tried to make one myself, i have the supplies but no good mold to make them with. So i was wondering if anyone has a cnc machine that they could use to make me a really cool mold. Thanks. Anyways if anyone knows anyone who is into fingerboarding or knows how to make items for it then please contact me. Thank you very much. Also see www.flatfacefingerboards.com (this kid makes so much money selling his stuff that his parents quit there day jobs!)

Very interesting. I had a tiny board back when I was young that came on a keychain that I used to play with like that. I didn't realized that it was so popular nowadays.
So, what do you need a mold for? Is it to clamp the veneers to to give them the shape while they dry?

Sorry I can't help you out but that's very cool creative and my nephew is really into that too. Good luck and post some picks of your finished product.

WOW from a very old skateboarder

Can't help you out with the mold stuff, but have one question and one comment:

How the ))(*&(^& does he do that? I'm totally impressed!

Boy that is sure a lot safer than it's big brother the skateboard and I've got scars from the 60's to prove it! *LOL*

Check CNCzone.com. They have a request for work. It won't be cheap though. You'd be better off trying to shape two pieces of wood to the shape you want and then clamping them together. An aluminum mold would probably cost you close to $500 for what your looking for if it has compound curves
