with the Penmaker's challenge. I had a call yesterday about my best friend from high school. Her husband has had mental problems, yesterday he reported to work (traffic policeman), shot himself and died. He has left them in hundreds of thousands of dollars in hospital debt among others. She doesn't even have enough money to cremate his body. I have been working the phone getting donations for the cause. Anyway, I just wanted to apologize for my contest delay. Say a prayer!!!!!!!!

BTW, I would have posted this in the BB forum but didn't want to bring down the party :(.

Becca,

Certainly we all grieve for your friend.

Now is not the time to approach the subject, but as a traffic cop, he should have been insured against mental issues. Sounds like your friend should find an attorney to assist her, after the tragedy has passed.

Becca,I'm so sorry to hear about
your friend.
You are indeed a good friend in
helping your friend in a rough time.
You will both be in our prayers.

Becca ... please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Thanks Al, this touches my heart in a way you cannot know. I won't ask my IAP family for any donations. Our IAP family does so much for so many. Your thoughts and prayers are more than enough. Thanks everyone.

Not quite sure how to word this......

First, I'm sorry for the loss and prayers will be offered.

Secondly, Please consider that there are some members who feel so strongly about this that we would like to help in some way. Please consider having those of us who would like to help email you privately for a place to make a donation?

I got an email from my firend's sister this am. She said my friend finally broke down and cried, broke my heart. Not to get your sympathy but she explained to me that my friend, Adele, has been living below what I consider comfortable. Her work clothes are OK but home clothes are ragged and holey. They used to own a home but now paying rent and couldn't make that payment last month. Her own family didn't know how bad things were until now. If you feel the need you can email me privatly. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you, you are wonderful people.
