Last week I sold 2 pens to a gentleman from my display at Central Market store where I work. He told me he wanted to see what else I had plus 2 more that were in the display cases. We got together at my house in the shop today and till he left he and his wife had bought 9 pens :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
That was my best sale in one day ever, since I don't do shows.

He was impressed with the shop and all the pen equipment, which I think made him buy more.

Now what kind of new tool can I buy :)

Pretty cool!

Love hearing about the success of others. What really stands out, is the guy brought his wife...she must have wanted to see them pretty badly also(probably after seeing the first couple he had got from you)!!

Scott (big congrats thumbs up) B

Very well done Keith!!!! What kind of pens were they?? Big buck high enders, I hope!!

This is very encouraging to hear. I've not sold a pen since mid December, yet I continue to turn pens and put them on my web site and show them to people.

Nine pens to one customer. That's excellent!

Great job Keith, I don't do shows either and its good to here when there is a success from outside the show world.

It was a mix of Jr. Statesmen, Jr. Gents (mostly) 2 ballpoints (one a sierra bakelite). Other materials were cebloplast, HRB and desert ironwood burl.

I do really need to think about a web sit thou. Everyone is always asking if I have a sit when they look at my pens on display at Central Market where I have them on display for sale. I have sold over 30 pens in the last 3 and a half months since displaying them.

Thanks for all the comments, they are appreciated.

Me too. No sales, just make pens. Bills keep coming.

mrburls, can we see pictures of your shop? I have one that is used to display to the public, but it isn't very big and within a Home Owners Association that is not happy with businesses inside their sphere of influence. I am fortunate that my property also ingress and egress's to a City street. My shop is painted, carpeted, door to the street, nice lighting.

I am really on a roll here. Sold two more Jr. Gent roller balls today at work to a co-worker.

I am thinking of asking them at work if I could put some sort of sign up for Fathers Day above my pen display. We'll have to see what they say about that. I may be pushing it a bit.

it never hurts to ask, I have noticed that pens sales have been down lately for me too, i think in the past few months I might have sold 20 pens, probably since January ,the economy does not help

Congrats on the sales
