Does anyone have or know where to get CS4 Design Premium for less than $400? It has to be for a PC.

Thanks for any help.

Do a craigslist search and I am sure you will find it. Just be careful with who you are dealing with and what you are getting. I just did a search here in Indy and there are several.

You might find it on ebay but be careful that you are buying a legitimate copy.

If you are not worried about legality then there are other ways!

Nothing local, but the one is exactly what I need. I emailed them.

Ebay isn't an option. They all are trying to get the premium price. I thought maybe I could get one there also.

I would prefer it be an original pack.

$400? It can't be had that cheaply legally.
Therefore, you must ask yourself this question:
How highly do I value my personal integrity, ethics, and honor?

All introspective questions requiring no public answer.

Yes sir, it can be had for that price to students. I can get it at our bookstore, however, I don't have the money for it. Check out Adobe's site.
In fact, I found someone that will sell it to me unopened, for $250. I just have to drive 100 miles to pick it up. Not sure if that is cost effective though.

Hi dozer,
you may want to check out Aviary it's like 24.99 a year and has a lot to offer. Also if its just image editing picnik is pretty nice also, Just a thought.

It has to be the CS4 design premium. It's for school. I need the full package, including Dreamweaver. I have several copies of Photoshop, but it isn't compatible with Illustrator or Indesign. Thanks though.

I'd be willing to chip in about $20 or so to help you out. If some other members here are willing to do the same, I believe we could take up a collection and get it for you... Would you be willing to let us help you in that way?

I can get it for $399, but don't have that much right now.

Purdue and IU students get it free.
I thought there might be a possibility that someone knew someone or had it themselves.

My apologies. Based on the earlier statement I noted in red, I was of the impression you weren't a student
but were looking for student software as an option.
My understanding of the EULA is that's not an acceptable use.

Also, having finished reviewing our nearly $84,000.00 purchase of Adobe software [no student pricing in that!],
I don't see a way to get that premier package anywhere near that inexpensively.

I do hope you find what you need.

Good luck,
G

That's a kind offer, but I wouldn't feel right about that.

Nothing in life is free, but I do try to find a deal when necessary.

I just started school this week and with it being about 35 miles away and working full-time, the only sensible way to keep up with homework and projects, seems to be to have it at home.

Yeah, the Adobe software adds up quickly, but they have software for any need and it's all interactive, unlike some other companies.

The gal that offered me the unopened package, keeps dropping her price. She dropped it another $50 if I drive the 3 1/2 hrs each way. That concerns me a little.

You're wrong, the best things in life are free!!

Do you have any pens or tools to sell? If you don't want to take "free" money, maybe some people on the IAP would buy something from you or you can sell some pens or othe items locally...

Yeah, that sounds a little crazy. Why wouldn't she pay $5 to ship it...?!?!?
