Ive wanted to get our snowboards mounted on the wall in our hallway for a little while but never been too impressed with the over priced plastic brackets they sell, so I machined some out of aluminium.

One goes under the board around the middle, and the other goes on top of the board towards the far left. as the board is off centre, gravity wants to pull it down to the right, but the bracket above stops it, locking it in place with rubber grips in the recess. to take off the wall simply lift the board turning it horizontal and you're away for winter!
