Just talking to the wife's aunt in Callispelle, Montana & they've got over an inch of snow & still snowing. Temp is 34 deg. The altitude is 3,000 ft. there at the bottom of the Glaciers. Whether report says we'll be 105 deg. here. Normally we've had 111-113 by this time of the year. Anything after 100 is still just HOT.

They are forecasting up to 6" of snow here in the mountains about 5000 feet. The Ski resort is opening back up this weekend! [:0] Boy am I glad that the earth is getting to hot. ;)[}:)]

I don't know, Gerry! Last time I was in Kalispell, they were still thawing out some Wooly Mamoths for a Summer barbecue! [8D]

Scott.

as the say ....
the coldest winter I ever witnessed was the summer I spent in Montana!!!!

Lived close to 15 years at the south end of Flathead lake, and know the area well, not unusual for Snow in June

OOPS. I did goof up on that spelling. Shoulda proof read it. No, not exactly. Somewhere around what, 20-25 miles. Beautiful mountain range, & quite a trip to the top.
