My experience with dried skins has not been good. If "dried" means the skins are stiff somewhat like parchment paper then I've not had good success. Getting the skins to wrap around the tubes and stay put and stick really close to the tubes has proven difficult. You may be able to relax the skins by soaking them in a half glycerin and half isopropyl alcohol mix(isoprtopyl alcohol, not denatured alcohol) for a few hours then roll them lengthwise and place in a plastic bag for a few days. Or, try them as they are and maybe your air dried is not the same as the ones I tried.

Do a good turn daily!

i know most of you use tanned skins but i have access to lots of dried skin and was wondering if it would work as well?
