Hello everybody,
I was wondering if anybody had a source for snake skin? Other than the occasional misfit slithering across the shop floor. I am doing a non-pen project and am in need of pieces that are 1" x 6" and PR/AL cast compatable.

Wish I did! Darn critters seem to have abandoned me alltogether this year. I think they moved north to get away from the fire ants.
 
I know of a guy that can get you matched set of rattle snake for a modest price. These are most use for adorning self bows and such...

Check out exotichides.com, they sell snake, lizard, frog, and at a great price. But tell Bud when you talk to him or email that you want thin skins for pens and he will pull the thin one for you.
 
Ohhhhhh, I see. You guys are talking about paying for them. I just wish I could find them "on the hoof" as it were. Cheaper that way.
