Small tool rests

Someone on here pointed to a site (another member maybe - hopefully) that made tool rests that were shorter and also hopefully shorter. I picked up a Capn Eddie carbide cutter but I think I'd like it better if the tool rest wasn't so tall at it's lowest position. Think they were changeable lengths (unscrewed from the post?)... I think, if that helps.

Ken has made me several small tool rests. One is only 2". They are high quality and work great.

Yes, they unscrew from the post. My experience? Disassembling and reassembling your toolpost every few minutes is a royal PITA. It didn't take very many pens before I broke down and bought a separate post for each of the rests. If I hadn't been so cheap up front, I would have saved myself the extra shipping charges.

Absolutely top quality, I recommend them highly... I just advise getting a post for every rest.
