Small Lidded Box

I'm still new at these kind of turnings but I'm pretty happy with how this one came out. The wood is cherry. The little finial knob is black walnut. Design opportunity! - I had the box pretty much done when I stupidly moved the the tool rest and nicked the lid with it. So mad at myself. So I ended up putting that radius around the edge of the lid and I actually like it better. Ha.

my typos are unstoppable but sometimes funny.

So people don't think we're crazy - I edited the original post. It said kid instead of lid. Haven't had any kid injuries yet.

I'd be interested to know how you like the DVD.

For this one, I put a tenon on both sides of the blank and chucked up the lid and box separately so the grain would line up
