Made an EDC today in Chrome. I used a blank I got in a mixed box of blanks...not sure what it is. It is a plastic of some sort, very hard, and smells like *^%#!!
I thought it would make an interesting pen in a color I don't have on the table. I thought it came out nice. After another look, I might mention that the orange is quite a bit brighter in person.

I know Crete. I owned a Farmers Ins. agency in Hastings for 10 yrs. or so.

It was actually named after Crete, Illinois in the 1860's by the first people that settled there, Jesse & Elizabeth Bickle (they moved to Nebraska from Crete, Illinois). - Dave
