I see several of you use a single pen acrylic stand in your photos and for the life of me I can't find them anywhere. Are you making them? Or where are you getting them? I've seen the doubles at PSI, I don't like the design. Thanks.

I ordered some from Trio Retail Design & Equipment. The single are kinda expensive at $4.75 but the bigger stands are pretty reasonable. Augum's Pen Works has the same for 3.75. Some people on this site make their own.

Steve,

I think many of us make their own. Start with a 1/8" thick piece of plexiglass 1" x 6". Make sure you sand the edges well. Use a forstner bit to put a half moon in one end and a small drill bit to drill a hole about a 1/4" in from the other end. Use a torch or candle to soften the plexiglass and bend to desired angle.

Hi Steve, this is where I found the ones that many here use in their photos. http://www.usadisplay.net/pen.htm
Plexi Pen Stands - Plexi-PENstands...ONLY $12.75 each - Model PN-STND.
I just received mine and have not taken any pictures with it yet. I like the angle the pen sits at.

Scroll just a little ways down and you will see them. There is a green pen and a dark blue pen sitting in two of the stands.

For me, I'll buy one for 12.75 rather than go out and buy a piece of plexi, cut it, round the corners, sand the edges, then heat it and hopefully bend it to the way I want it. I would screw that up big time or it would take me a couple of tries to get it the way I wanted it.[V]

If you are looking for stands like this one,

I will soon (2-3 weeks) be selling them on my website for $5 each to my customers. IAP members can order them for half-price if done through the forum email. Up to 20 units will cost $6.00 shipping, $10 for international shipping.

Not that this is NOT a group buy, but just a special offer of my regular merchandise.

Lou, will you be making them to hold two and three pens? I only have a single, it would be nice to get one that holds two and three pens.

Tim,

This is my first time getting deeper into the accessories side for my site. If I get good service and can stock the doubles and triples at a good price, I will extend the offer again.

I have a few of Lou's single stands from some trading we did a while back and I can say that his are first class. Worth waiting on if you're not in a hurry.
