First segment done. Nice and simple. American Holy and red-dyed curly maple on a Hart double twist pen kit. It was for an Alabama fan. Think I'll try an aluminium spacer between the segments next time.

You're off to a good start. Sometimes simple is better.

One thing I do see is, it looks like the bushing you're using for your center band might have the hole drilled slightly off center. I only say this because the lower area of the top barrel, matches nicely, and around to the other side, it looks like it's a little proud.

Nice pen. Now that you are hooked you will start thinking about what else you can do. Remember most of the cuts are not that technical. Have fun and keep posting your ideas. Great job.
