But do you still need the silver extension on the Sierra Click, or are we talking a twister here?
The answer either way is yes, as it's a Parker format refill, meaning it uses the same dimensions as the standard Parker refill.

Then wouldn't the uni-ball 207 be a better choice since it doesn't require the silver extension? Not attempting to start an argument, just making a comment!:)

Agree just a matter of preference for the long Sierra click, but the Schmidt 8900 Super Bowl refills allow rollerball use in place of Parker-style refills (e.g., short Sierra click and Sierra twist pens).

I must be going blind. I don't see the twist refills for the sierras at that link... I do see the click refills.

These are Parker style refills. Just to make sure nothing odd going on with my originally posted link, here's the product description directly quoted from the website:

"Schmidt "Super Bowl" 8900 Fine point. Now offer your clients the convenience of a Capless roller ball in a Parker style format. The Schmidt capless roller system offers up to 1 year cap off time without drying out. Available in FINE point only and in Black or Blue ink, Please specify ink color in remarks"

Mack, sorry, don't understand your "Gotcha" comment although agree "getting me" is not a hard task.

Hi Jim; Gotcha, as in I understand. Never thought of the shorter Sierras. No disrespect intended!

No problem, Mack! Sorry I didn't understand your comment the 1st time!

Greg, here's a comparison photo of the 8900 and refill from a standard Sierra twist pen:

I have never seen the super bowl refill but this weekend a customer bought a Sierra and had just purchased a few Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 refills from another vendor and wanted to make sure it would fit the Sierra before buying it, which it did. I asked to try it and liked the way it wrote so it is just another thing on my list of goodies to buy. The Sierra is really easy to sell once folks know it isn't just a ballpoint!

Hi George; Do you charge extra for the 9000 refills? And what do you do with all the ball point cartridges when/if they purchase the super bowl refill?

Mack, I haven't purchased any Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 refills yet but will probably order soon but have no plans for the super bowl refill. Anthony (http://www.thegoldennib.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49_51&products_id=233) has some decent prces on the 9000's and at $1.95 apiece, I don't see the need to raise pen prices, I'll just include the refill as an upgraded refill.
