Exactly. And that is why we moved from the city in 1970 to raise our children here. I have another shot of Momma deer standing watching me while I was taking photos of her bambinos.

Great shot; we get lots of deer and wild turkey in our yard, but FL deer aren't that colorful nor that large.

Frank, that photo of the fawns may well be worthy of publication, or at least submission to a photo contest.[]
But it's even worse when they jump in front of my Harley![:0]

Thanks Billy. I take about a half dozen shots similar to that every year. I often intend to enter in the county fair contest but just as often forget. I take a lot of neat pictures in my area and many in my yard. I do post on the State web site photo gallery but they only allow one per month.

Very nice shot Frank, aman after my own heart, i too like to do wildlife photography.
Hopefully when i move to Scotland i will get them on my patch as well.
Here is one i found a bit younger than your two, probobly only a day or two old.
