The shopsmith warehouse is having a big two day sale today from 9-2 and tomorrow from 9-12. Their warehouse is located at 6530 Poe avenue in Dayton off of the I-75 Benchwood avenue.

They are going to have all kinds of tools, not just shopsmith stuff, along with wood and clamps and books and all kinds of stuff. I hope to go today at lunchtime.

Well for those that haven't gone yet. Here's my haul for almost less than half of 100 bucks.

Nova G3 Chuck
2 1/2" gouges
1 3/4" gouge
1 parting tool?
1 skew
1 scraper?
about 4 bd ft of cherry
a center finder
2 feather boards
2 aluminum mitre slot tracks
2 mitre bars to fit in above mitre slot tracks
1 bottle of titebond III glue

To be honest I don't know the difference between a bowl gouge and a spindle gouge.

The sale was Friday and Saturday only.

Sorry guys..if I'd had more money I would have bought the five one-way chucks they had and sold them here for a discount. Then I may have been able to buy my lathe. My wife thinks I'm crazy having a chuck and tools, but no lathe.
 
well, now you have an excuse to get a lathe. :biggrin: Need to make sure those tools work :eek: before the refund expires. If they don't work, you will have to take them back for a refund.

all sales were final. I did take apart the G3 and clean it all up and it's shining like a beauty. I'll probably wax it tonight....wife has a meeting at work tonight.
