Shop Prep Day (bowls)

What I did in my shop today: Dry Bowls, already to turn! Walnut, Siberian Elm, and some Maple. That really big Walnut in the back of the rest... I'm thinking of just hanging on to it so I can make my own urn. Claro Walnut, what better way to leave this mortal vessel?

Those should keep you busy for a week or so, right? Interesting thought about the urn. Claro is beautiful.

Thanks... I've got a few more prepped today because I couldn't get to the lathe. I know everyone warned me, and I didn't listen. They said if Karen starts turning, you'll need two lathes or you won't get time on it. Well, it happened today.

And I don't mind.
