Michael's has some of their Ott-Lite products on clearance nationwide. For those not familiar with Ott-Lites, the bulb puts out a light wavelength that is close to natural sunlight. Crafters like these products because they see the colors in a more natural color rather than being affected by incandescent bulbs causing yellowing of the colors. (Really good for anyone doing fabric or stitchery of any kind.)
Anyway, I picked up several clip-on lamps to use for my lathes. These lamps were normally beyond what I would want to pay but on clearance they are $19.99. I have used a floor model lamp for a couple of years and these are on sale for about 50% off. ( I just replaced the bulb for this lamp last weekend and the bulb alone cost $30.)
