Shop Fox mini lathe

Anyone out there have one? My uncle bought one, and he is not interested in making pens, but I was wondering if you can put a chuck on it? I saw that it has a #1MT, but in the picture I couldn't make out a threaded HS. I'm trying to figure out what accessories he can get for it, to see what type of capabilities he will have with it.

If it's the model 1704, it has a 3/4 x 16 spindle so he shouldn't have a problem with accessories.
