Shucks, the first Atari (1980?) exceeded the capacity of my brain! I don't need to wait for the $1000 computer in 2020 for that. [:D]

To me this is kinda scary ... When computers first came out they claimed they were going to make our lives so much easier, now I look back to those days and then fast forward to today and I can tell you that my life is not easier.
I read that the rate of change and the development of new technology was going to accelerate to the point that human beings could no longer assimilate it. Then we would simply shift the development over to the machines...... Leaves one to wonder who will control who???

I think Jim sums it up pretty good, and as a technology teacher I can assure you that what I learn today is so badly outdated by the time I get to class tomorrow it is baffling. But with all this we all still make good old-fashioned ink pens and people still use them!

<br />Sounds like the future's not far away, Dario... [;)]

With that, I bet Schools, Colleges, and Universities will all become extinct sooner than most would imagine. All the kids (and adults) need will be memory chips [:D].

Yesterday's sci-fi is tomorrow's reality. I too am scared.
