I'm going through withdrawal symptoms lately . My mandrel is shot and I'm waiting for a new one to arrive so I thought that I'd get a head start on some shell casings .
There's been some questions as to what to use for a finish on them and this is a test I did to see if what I did would work or not . After I polished them I coated them in Turners Polish . 3 of these casings were finished to-day and the other one I've been carrying around in my pocket for about 10 days now . Can you tell which one was in my pocket ?
The one on the left is the one that I've been carrying around for 10 days . I was really surprised at just how well the Turners Polish held up !!
