I've been trying to make my vision for a replica of the Shawshank Rock Hammer come to life since 2018 and finally, with the help of my incredible partner, family, & a new machinist friend I've made my dream a reality. Using a beautiful piece of the Shawshank Oak Tree Root Ball, I made the first one as a proof of concept for myself but I have plenty of straight grain oak from the tree that will match the screen-used hammer better for a small production run of these.

Very nicely done. I've been watching for completed pics of this since you showed the hammer without the handle material.

I have turned a fair amount of Shawshank oak and Dan is a great guy to work with.
