Well, the September meeting started out very dull, but by the end of the meeting it was pretty sharp!!
After introductions - two new members tonite and a total of 16 attendees, we were able to enjoy many new pens by the members for show and tell.
The demo by Robert tonite was about tool sharpening, using the Wolverine system and the Tormek. Most of the time was spent on the Wolverine since this is the most common system among members.
We learned how to shape and sharpen the various lathe tools used by members to turn their pens. As he sharpened each tool and answered the many questions, he passed the completed tools around for "approval".
I think we all have a much better understanding of how to keep our tools much sharper.
Even the raffle added to our Christmas party fund.
Looking forward to our meeting next month.
