Segmented skull and bones

Hi fellas, made this design after a trip in the way back to the photo library.Came across some pens by ElMostro.Tried to emulate the design but also added runners by the center pattern.

Made two 10" blanks,rounded,drilled on the lathe.Parted of 1/16" discs,stacked on the tube,and it stillcame out off.I'm either missing something(maybe alot of things) or it is a very difficult build.

I can not comment on what you may have done wrong. However, it is still a very nice pen and i admire the work that went into it. Flawed or not. Still very likable.
