I just want to say thanks to my secret santa, who remains secret to me due to the fact that my wife tore off the return address.:confused:

I appreciate the blanks and kits, as there are ones that I normally would not buy for myself. I will post pics and hope I can do them justice.

LOOKIE HERE !! My Secret Santa was on it ! I couldn't wait 'til Christmas when I saw the post mark on the package . I got a beautiful Closed end Gold Baron (I think it is ) wrapped in Multi-colored PR or Acrylic ? Anyway , it's a rollerball , I think . Along with the pen I got some beautiful timber and PR , Acrylic blanks . I really don't deserve these things , BUT I"M KEEPING 'EM !!! This guy does good work !! I easily found out who he is , but I'd better not say just yet . Unless he PMs with permission .

Mine came today with lots of goodies. No name on the package but he used stabilized corn cobs instead of peanuts for the packing. That's a big clue. Everything was great.

Hey Tim,

Glad I was right. I've turned 2 of the cobs and they do turn like a dream. They are the best I have ever turned. Gonna tackle the "Living Color" next and then cast up some of the money. I tried glueing some of those shredded bills back together but that's no way to make a living and I now must bathe in Acetone to get all the glue off.

Recieved mine today. Got a West African (Angola) Grey Wood pen blank,a beautiful Angola Rosewood blank,120 year old Osage Orange fence post blank,a huge 1.5"x1.5"x5.5" piece of corian,chrome Cigar pen kit,and a gold Pen/Pencil combo kit. Thanks alot! I forgot who sent it but I love what I got. Now I got to just send mine off.
 
You're SO right about Tim's cobs. I mentioned on here not long ago how good they are. Don't want to steal your thread but give him a well deserved plug. Don't think you can find better--may be as good, but couldn't be better.
