That reminds me.... I still haven't seen a burl pen from the person that I Secret Santa-ed wonder if he's still drooling over the blanks. :wink:

Looks like we have enough interest to do this, will be interesting to see if it works like PITH or if it's more open to materials/tools as well.

Yep ... it might be a fun thing to do. The hard part might be in putting a value on pen blanks ... if that's what we decide to Secret Santa. Like, I always have trouble deciding how much a blank is worth if I'm going to sell one. Know what I mean?

The one I'm running on the other site is for handtools only. But there are no upper or lower limitations on value of what you can send. I don't know how it will be handled here as I won't be running it, but I would imagine the limits or lack thereof will be clearly stated by whoever does run it.
This was done last year by someone else on that site, and I don't think we had one person that wasn't happy with their SS gift.

The Secret Santa is not dead! I didn't want to see a good idea go down the pot so I'll be coordinating the
1st Annual (hopefully) IAP Secret Santa.
I'm working out the details with Cav and will hopefully be starting the official thread by the end of the weekend or early next week. Let's hope we get lots of participants and make this really fun.
