OK in the spirit of x-mas and giving here goes. This is a big extended family for me and I have meet some wonderful people (personally and electronically) as I am sure alot of you have too. So I was thinking how about I put on a secret santa like thing? This is what I came up with. I will provide packages of half blanks of all the burl types I sell like the photo of some I have sold in the past. I am thinking 20.00 shipped and of that 5.00 will go to IAP. Only catch is you have to PM me with a name of a member so I can post it under the listing to get their shipping address. Buy as many as you want for your friends and extended family on IAP plus help support the site. And now for the frosty twist part...... For every one you buy your name will go in a hat and when it closes I will have Jenn or little Nolan draw a name for a not so secret santa gift from me. Probably a flat rate box full as possible of some of the highest quality burls to be found from my stash. Of course I am sure this would be OK with Jeff. I was going to put it in the fundraiser part but didnt feel it really fit the definition as it is not totaly a fundraiser. In the end Jeff can verify by number of address I request against the total money I will send him after it is closed.

What a great idea. Even better if it goes to someone who has not had the opertunity to try your blanks.

Wonder if Ed got a package if he would ever turn another "plastic" blank?[:p]

Just pass me the info, this is mostly just for fun and earn a little money for the site.

Now Ed, you told me you thought that the casting made from parrot dung was quite breath taking. And we scooped those specially for you from our citron cockatoo. I guess we won't bother to send you the one compliments of our doberman. Maybe Cav would appreciate it! [:0][)][:0]

No deadline just till it runs out or there isnt anymore interest. Sorry I got a late start with this but just getting back on my feet and all.

It took me all day to find out where in the world did I get a box of very unique blanks from, and why. Now I know and I thank who ever put my name in the box and especially you Nolan. What a great, unexpected surprise. Guess I was asleep at the mike cuz I didn't see or notice this in the posts. Nolan, if I were still controlling airplanes you could have direct direct at blocked altitudes, just like Santa Claus.
Thank you so much,
Vern

I got a really nice surprise in the mail! The blanks look great. Even more importantly is the thoughtful gesture behind the gift. Whomever you are .... my deepest thanks! :D
