Trying to build up inventory for shows this fall. Among the other shows, my daughter talked me into signing up for a quilt show sponsored by her quilting guild.

From left to right in the group picture, Genesis blank from Woodturningz, red stabilized hickory and blue stabilized maple from Big Rob, stablized spalted myrtle and black ash burl from Woodturningz with a slice of maple veneer and stabilized cherry burl from Woodturningz with a triple veneer insert of maple and walnut. All the woods finished with CA.

Nice work ... I like em all !! I am glad you raised the topic of seam rippers. Couple of questions :

1) Who is Big Rob ? ... Arizona Silhouette ?

2) How much can one expect to sell a seam ripper for ... nice ones like yours. Reason I ask is I suggested to make some for a seamstress I know and suggested a price of $25 .... she laughed me out of the room !!! She said you get them free when you buy a sewing machine. LOL

Nice looking necklaces, Tony! Nice to see how the finished product looks.

Incidentally, I'm doing a quilt show in June that is sponsored by my wife's quilt guild and have been working on my inventory of seam rippers and other items as well. I'll be showing pens too of course. And they really wanted me to bring my small lathe and turn during the show, so I'll be taking some custom orders and seeing how that goes. Should be an adventure.

Mal, I sell the double ended seam rippers for $30 all day long and no one bats an eye. Not sure how much the necklaces will go for yet...
