I'm curious, do many people use sealing wax and wax stamps anymore?
There are several places on the net that you can get sealing wax..and a lot of cool stamps too.
Here is the wax section of one...

Wow Jeremy, that's a tough one! There are oodles of different kinds of candle wax. Some are natural, some petroleum based, some a combination. Then there are the all the different additives, scents, colorants and hardeners. It's enough to make my head spin!:bulgy-eyes:
Try some of your candle wax on a bit of scrap. See if you like how it works. Make sure to give it enough time to know if your wax is going to leach out and stain the paper.
My best advise would still be to stick with the waxes that are specially formulated for letter sealing, but you may happen across a wax that will work for you!
And if you want to try your hand at making your own, look here. I have not tried this yet, but I would be very curious to see how it turns out!!
