My daughter does, on the rare occaison, such as invitations, and so on. Mostly she is a text kind of girl. Part of the problem is getting the wax! Hard to find, and then pretty pricey--normally and a lace like Papyrus, except for silver and gold which you can sometimes find in the do it yourself wedding sections and Hobby Lobby, etc.

Wow Jeremy, that's a tough one! There are oodles of different kinds of candle wax. Some are natural, some petroleum based, some a combination. Then there are the all the different additives, scents, colorants and hardeners. It's enough to make my head spin!:bulgy-eyes:

Try some of your candle wax on a bit of scrap. See if you like how it works. Make sure to give it enough time to know if your wax is going to leach out and stain the paper.

My best advise would still be to stick with the waxes that are specially formulated for letter sealing, but you may happen across a wax that will work for you!

And if you want to try your hand at making your own, look here. I have not tried this yet, but I would be very curious to see how it turns out!!

Cool, I might just try that! Thanks again for the info!

Yeah, i use a wax seal on birthday cards and important things like that, just because its cool, and the only thing about using candle wax is that a lot of them will either liquefy too much
