It is not possible to do the turning in one go. We must work by step and re-resin at 50%. The shells are hollow and compartmentalized. It is certain that some expertise is required

A few years back I bought a blank cast with shells - very attractive. It was the most difficult material I have ever attempted, and in the end it was a failure. Never tried again. The double cast makes sense to me based on my experience. I was repeatedly filling voids with CA until it finally shattered. Yours are beautiful.
