Scarlet red

Can any body recommend a mica color that is a very bright red? I'm trying to make a "Buckeye" pen and their colors are Scarlet and Gray.

I don't like any of the Micas for a bright red. I would use Mixol tints for that.

You can get a bright red solid pigment, but not Pearlex. The closest I have come is a mix of the clear Pearlex that a supplier near me sells by the pound (that is like a pale pearl colour) with the Scarlet dye. The pepper grinder blank on the right is the result.
