Needed a mold for the Bash casting contest. Came up with this one from 3/4 inch PVC and turned threads on the ends to accept Soda Bottle Caps.

Lots of people have made PVC work for them, John.

We never could---test a couple pours to make sure it will come out of the mold, for you.

Wow, and here I am using 1.5" wide blue tape. I bet that would solve the falling over issue I had before I made the rack. Nice work.

Whats the thread size/pitch on a soda cap ?

(can put this into the tap/die spreadsheet :)

Try Coke caps. If your near my age you know "Things go better with Coke"

Seriously, the first cast was a success. No problem getting the blank out of the mold.

Chuckie,
These work good for me and emptying them is fun also. I cut off the bottom end and cast with the cap down. Then remove the cap and push out the blank.
Do a good turn daily!

I have alot of those and they come in 2 different sizes. One about 6 inches long and some about 3 inches long.
