Anthony owns The Golden Nib. No shells came out. I don't think they are real shells. I noticed no difference as I turned the blank. The "shells" seem to be pieces of resin.I do remember him. Looks like they may be the same but different color schemes.Beaufort Ink offers a similar acrylic blank named pebble beach
