I've bought some single and double rosewood boxes from 2 different online store and from brick and mortar Rockler and WoodCraft stores. The ones I got from the online store were nice, no issues at all, and a good price... under $4 if I remember correctly. The one I got from Rockler I was not happy with, it almost appeared to be a "second" and looked like the inside had been repared because the color was not consistent, and it was more expensive then the online boxes. Now the one I got from Woodcraft cost about as much as the one from Rockler but it looks 10x better (IMHO) then the other ones. There is a nice grain pattern on these boxes and really look like they are made out of rosewood and not just colored a rosewood color.
Anyone else know what i'm referring to? If you buy boxes where is your favorite place to get them?
