i just did a nono, do not clip a jr gent RB in the ruler pocket on carpenter jeans it will unscrew and lose all its ink in the lower left corner. remined me what i didnt like about ink pens. wally loves to sell me new jeans .

That is tuff to do. It would have to unscrew the cap and fall off for the nib to be exposed. If that happened, no pen was safe there then. Ruler pocket hey, that is those long pockets.
 
Robert , the biggest no-no you did was to put ANY pen in your pants pocket . A pen in someones pants pocket is subjected to all kinds of stresses , none of which is good for the pen . I would suggest that you either keep them in your shirt or jacket pocket or buy a case for your belt .
