These two in a sense is like mixing oil and water. I do both in my garage. I have had a rod that I needed to finish wrapping on my rod lathe for a while now. I had to clean everything the dust from turning pens is all over the garage my rod blanks threads and everything. But I finally got it cleaned up and wrapped the last guide today going to glue it all up tonight and be finished with that one.

Brent, I just recently had a wall with an entrance door put up in my shop to keep the two sections separate. I lined the wall with shelf brackets and adjustable shelves from one end to the other. Now I can do my lathe work and keep the dust from settling all over my rod building components. Now I just have to get a separate air condition unit for that side now. Haven't heard from you in a while. I thought you may have given up on the rod building since you started turning pens.
