RIP Frosty the Snowman....

It was a sad and tragic night in Northern Connecticut. The policeman tried to stop him, why he even hollered, "STOP" but Frosty the Snowman only paused a minute before he ran out into the road. Sadly, Frosty did not see the plow truck, and the plow driver could not tell Frosty from any other snow pile and just plowed right into him.

Frosty is remembered by his Mother and Father and services were held street side in a small memorial service tonight. Still missing is Frosty's top hat.

And my wife thinks I have a strange humor... The kids were laughing thier fool heads off! The best part is when we let our old goldie out (14yr) she went nuts barking at them!

Well.. my wife would not let me park the Jeep in the front yard and set up snowmen around it like the Jeep had hit one and had other snowmen looking on in horror.. I think it was when I said I wanted to put the snowmans head on the hood she shut me down..

Come awn guys... it's no where as bad as what people do on halloween, Huh??? [;)]

Scott, Dang man... you almost made me run out to my car to grab my inhaler!! I laughing my rear end off with that link!! The first one is the one I saw sometime last year and it always stuck in my head, but I have missed the others..

I think tomorow I will do the shark one out near the road! [:eek:)]
 
This is certainly a tragic way to begin the Holiday Season. I'll be attending the memorial service later this evening. Just wondering if there's any chance of getting back that five bucks Frosty borrowed from me. Oh well. [:(]
 
Hey santa, aren't you a bit busy to attend a memorial service this time of year. I'm expecting you to deliver a new lathe in about a week. less mourning more tool making.
 
This Frosty thing really ticks me off! It's another case of illegal immigrants coming to this country from Iceland and not following the rules. Everybody knows that the police would have caught Frosty cold. I know the bleeding hearts are going to whine and cry about Frosty's upbringing and his problems as a child. So what if he began as a snowball. Lot's of other adults started off as snowballs and they made something of themselves. Some of them even went on to be frosting on cakes.
Count me out when it comes to feeling soft for Frosty. He can go melt in hell for all I care. [;)]
 
I saw his hat on ebay, still had some frost around the ring, but you better hurry if you are going to bid.....

It is sad that the policeman did not know how to speak Icelandic...We should mandate that all police officers speak Icelandic....or maybe all snow plows should be registered....

Hi everybody! Let me re-introduce myself. Although you know me as DocStram .... I have decided to undergo an extreme make-over! I've been spending a whole lot of time watching Oprah. And now I'm convinced it's time to reinvented myself! Don't worry ... I'll keep the same username but you will find me to be a new and improved DocStram ... one who is kinder and gentler. Really! The only thing I can think of is his television broke and he can't get Oprah or he was pulling our chain. Doc, Doc what ever happen to the new and improved version that was full of forgiveness and was going to be kinder and gentler.

Colleagues .... rather than hijack Lee's hilarious, award deserving, Frosty thread .... I have started a new thread that will address that "DocStram" makeover thing.

Lee ... we can't wait to see what your next snowfall will bring. [:D]
