For many years I have been using a carefully trued Freud glueline rip blade as my jointer, now I have a real one. Yes, it is short and low powered, but it works well. Right out of the box it was spot on 90 degrees and that's where I'll try to keep it. It has a helical cutting drum with 12 HSS cutters soon to be replaced by carbide cutters. I make numerous panels and cutting boards and the joints are very tight now. The photos show one end grain cutting board and a large spice rack that will slide out of a kitchen cabinet. Happy day indeed.
