Agenda:
1) Show off your pens – if you finished a watch parts pen from last meeting bring it in to show. Also anything else new.
2) Demo: Using the indexing feature of lathes along with some jigs to create facets, flutes, inlays and more. We will use the indexing feature built into some lathes as well as a commercial indexing wheel. Inlays will be veneer, jewels, metal wire, polymer clay canes and more. If you have used the indexing feature and have examples (pen or otherwise) and any jigs you use, bring them in (jigs and pieces) to share with the group. If you can demo, all the better.
3) Preparation for next meeting (May 2019) – something special planned.
