I couldnt get the second the video to load but that process Just doesnt seem to be right.

The "ribbon" is way too 3D and the completly segregates the two colors of resin.

Like one color is poured the ribbon added the second color poured and then its all massaged without mixing tne colors.
 
The blank you use as an example is commercially made. As I understand it, they use tons of pressure and high heat to "set" the sheet. So, it could be pumped into the sheet.

In the industry, they refer to those lines as "paper". Don't know if that is really what it is, but the sheets come out very random. I stopped buying several patterns because they were expensive and about 30 % of the sheet had minimal pattern. (No discount to me for those)

Now, we buy them in cut blanks---we can be more "choosy".
