Revolver Honeycomb

Another "gadget" pen. This is a Revolver pen in bright aluminum, from Woodcraft. The blank is a black Honeycomb, also from Woodcraft. I'm not usually a fan of pens that use mini refills, But I like the details in this one. I figure pens like this are more for the theme, rather than function. I made this for one of our lady sales reps. She's a big gun fan, and competes in shooting competitions.

I painted the blank and tube, and colored the epoxy, but I don't think it was necessary. I think these blanks are opaque because of the aluminum honeycomb structure.

Nice combo. I got off to a bad start with HC blanks but have say they look great when finished. It is a nice desk piece. The mini refill keeps it functional. Sharp looking pen. Good job on that.
