Yup the PR has been ordered--------Knock-out Roses are on the way.
The Prickley Pears are getting replaced. They only bloom once a year for about a week the rest of the time they are just ugly nasty plants that you best stay away from.
The plan is for a Monday execution--------a pitch fork and a couple hours work and all three beds will be history.

We had century cactus in my yard when we first moved in 10 years ago. I remember that we had to rip every one of them out, it had been growing in the same place for 35-40 years, we used pickaxes, shovels and an Axe I hope that it comes out easier than the effort we had to put in

Well I don't think they are ugly. Wish I had some of that type in my cactus garden. Ya cactus blooms don't last long but they are beautiful. And cactus are so easy yo care for, you don't even have to water them

Paul-----have you seen the new Knock-outs---------they bloom year round and with a bit of TLC get really big.
Oh---this Cactus has a yellow flower.

And if you have the right kind of prickly pear cactus, you can pick the pears, make cactus jelly, cactus candy, cactus pen,.... and if you back up and fall into them, you have to shave your butt to get the stickers out... DAMHIKT.

Really? That is kinda weird... Maybe i should actually read the TOS...

Not weird at all! I think it's a really good rule, in that it keeps vendors from using the casual conversation forum to launch or announce upcoming things they have for sale. If it weren't for the guidelines and rules, some vendors would be cluttering the casual conversation as well as other forums promoting their goods for sale every day. I have a hunch some feel that more people read the casual conversation forum than the most valued vendor forum so more potential customers will read their posts.

Some vendors do this on a regular basis and are pretty clever in the way they word their posts so as not to make it appear they are actually going to be selling things when in reality, that's the sole purpose of the thread!

When the intent is obvious, the threads get moved to the appropriate forums which are the various classified forums! Actually, I think having the threads moved is a pretty lenient action and a better than just having the thread deleted!

You mean like this? I get pink and yellow. If they bloomed year around, it wouldn't be so exciting.

We have those knock out roses. We can't seem to cut them back enough! They take over and you can't kill them! What starts as a small bush ends up being around 5 x 5 feet solid in a season!

As far as I'm concerened there was never anything mentioned about selling anything. He was showing a truck load of Osage Orange he cut up. How that got perceived as him wanting to sell is beyond my comprehension.
