I'm celebrating my official retirement which really starts tomorrow. I've missed a lot by not being able to make pens for the past 3 years. I'll continue my miniatures in a small way (yup it's a pun!!), but will be slowing my pace down.

I'm looking forward to getting back into penmaking which will likely take me a couple months. I haven't done much with fountain pens, and hope to make that my focus.

I've enjoyed this site immensely, and treasure the friendships I've been able to make here. A number have been very, very generous to me, and you are very appreciated!! Your kindnesses have not gone unnoticed!!

Thanks all!! Would certainly love to get to AZ to see you Anthony, but I know I'd learn more from you. Perhaps, I'll get down that way, and I know I 'd enjoy that for sure!!!

May you have a happy and long retirement.

Been retired for 7 years, spent the first year building a new house on 25 acres, ever since then I have been wondering where I ever found the time to go to work!:D

Congratulations on the new chapter in your life. Retirement is all that it is cracked up to be. I hope you enjoy it...I know you will enjoy it!! Now, go make some fountain pens. Maybe you could make miniature fountain pens...that hasn't been done yet.:D:D
Do a good turn daily!
Don

You make me jealous, 4 more years for me. I am enjoying what I am doing now but I still look forward to retirement. CONGRATULATIONS Tom!
