I'm in the process of making this a reality and will post pictures hopefully this evening or tomorrow, but basically...

I'm thinking PVC pipe in 3/4" and 1" diameter with a small window cut in the side (top when flat for pour obviously) to pour...

Rubber stoppers to go in each end of the PVC...

Pour poly-resin into tubes you want to match, so that OD of the poly = ID tube...

Drill a hole in the center of the robber stopper and glue 2 shorts of the poly @ ID tube...

Tube to be poured goes into PVC with poly rod inside to suspend, rubber stopper seals against PVC and tube, pour goes in through the windows in PVC, dries, and you have a round cast...

Any thoughts? Has anyone tried anything similar and had success or failure? I've got the resin in the tubes as I type and am getting ready to run to the local ACE to find rubber stoppers. Hopefully I'll have a good idea when it's done, but that remains to be seen....

Why not just buy a well made Resin Saver mold fro Charlie, (newlondon88) his are well made and work consistently with no messing around with rubber stoppers and other silly time wasting maneuvers??
