Our good friend Sam here in Australia suffered chest pains yesterday and is in Hospital awaiting Angiogram, your prayers are appreciated for Sam and Pat. Amos
I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper;
The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Sam I hope you get as good of care as I got when I had my heart attack, may the good Lord keep you in his hand and guide the medical team through their way.
Latest update-being transferred to Lake Macquarie Privat Hospital, he is urgent but stable, so the operation could be Monday if he maintains stability. Surgeon believes that a couple of stents could be blocked. Pat phoned through the info, have passed your regards on to them. Amos
Best wishes to both Sam and Pat. Hope that it is only blocked stints and that his MDs get plenty of rest so that they are able to do their very best on Monday. Thanks for the update.
Pat informs me that Leg Irons are being applied so Sam won't chase the nurses!, :biggrin: meanwhile this Monday or Tuesday will be Angiogram day. Also Tomorrow (Sunday) Pat will briing the Laptop to the Hospital- so Sam can see for himself what you have said!, so very meekly and mildly--GIVE him CURRY!:biggrin: Amos

Our best wishes for a speedy recovery Sam , and for Pat's sake , wait till you are better to chase the nurses .... so she can put you back in to remove the frying pan from your head :beat-up::biggrin:
All the very best Sam:biggrin: I believe that chasing nurses is a sure sign of recovery, but you could end up staying in hospital longer if the wife finds out!!!:biggrin:
Glad the angiogram showed all clear. Now you have to sit back and find out what was causing the pain. Take care of yourself Sam, you are in my prayers.
I've got to start checking things other than the home page when I sign on here, almost missed this.
Thanks for your prayers- They let him out today!! Now it is Pat's turn to put him under the thumb so he doesn't over do it! Amos, but a huge thanks again for all prayers and well wishes, Amos
Thank you all very much for your prayers thoughts and wit.
Yes I am home and its going to be hard to sit around and watch things happen. The other good news is that my BP has come down this morning to a realistic figure.
At least my new found bird watching is keeping me amused. I had made some bird feeders and nesting boxes before I went to hospital and it is good to see them being used. I even have a pair of eastern rosellas' checking out the nest to see if it is suitable and I think I have a pair of rainbow lorikeets in a nest. We just had a flock of RL's on the back verandah.
Looks as if I will be spending just that little more on the forums than I have been
