Request for tutorial

Hey guys/gals,

Been thinking to do a segmented pen and actually found a blank similar to what I was wanting to make on Bear Tooth Woods, Image below (didn't see any trademarking or anything, happy to pull it down if there are ownership issues)... just thought it would be easiest to show you what I am looking to do.

Have you seen a tutorial out there to do this technique? I checked but maybe missed it in the library. Hoping for a step by step but any help is appreciated!

Very similar, and I think I'll try that one too!

I was thinking that the trick to doing the two-toned thing might be to hold two blanks together with double sided tape and cut both blanks (one on top of the other) so they both have the same shape. Then just peel them apart and swap them? I figure you'd get two blanks that way.

What are your thoughts?

Found it, just needed to search differently.

I was pretty much on the right track with the attach one on another, cut, swap idea. I think I will add the laminate between pieces like the picture too!
