repling to a post

when one wishes to reply to a specific person & their question in a post, how does one accomplish that? I've seen it done where part of the original post is taken out and then answered...appreciate the help, I'm new to computers and am having a devil of a time trying to learn the ins & outs

There is quote tab at the bottom.----you can remove any part of the orignal post and address the part you want.

There are 3 buttons at the bottom-right corner of each post

QUOTE, "+ (quote+), and QR (quick reply)

Quote will quote the entire message but you can edit it to shorten the message.
"+ gives you the capability to quote multiple posts but hit quote on the last to activate the reply screen.
QR is just quick reply to that message.
