Hey all. I'm looking for a good site for replacement tubes of all sizes. Currently the ones I'm interested in are 11mm. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!

Best to look for the tubes the same place you buy your components.

There are MANY configurations of tubes---if anyone tried to stock them all, they would use up a LOT of space. So, we try to stock the tubes for the pens we sell--even then it takes a lot of space.

Just a FWIW.

Make a small purchase first and make sure they work as replacement for the tubes you are concerned with. The OD on the tube is generally the dimension stated. The wall thickness and thus the ID can vary from maker to maker and at times even from kit style to kit style by the same maker.

Since Mike (feeneypens) asked the same in his posting of his first kitless pen http://www.penturners.org/forum/1413369-post1.html to be used for reinforcing his wood barrels he is not necessarily locked in to tubes from kit pens.

PSI sells tubes in 10 inch lengths that are the same diameters and wall thicknesses that many kit pens use. They may not have the exact size that you want but you have some flexibility.

You also have the option of looking in hobby and model stores for brass tubing. Most will have a display of K&S Engineering metals brass, aluminium, and copper tubing, rods and sheets. Some of the tubes are thicker than the ones for pen tubes and might allow for threading fine threads directly into them.
